"Seven Mountains" from the German acoustic emo project "Social Smoker" is a record that deals with the feelings of solitude, guilt and emotional anguish.

After "hey how r u?", the first record put out by Social Smoker under Lonely Bird Records in 2020, Seven Mountains presents a step in a new direction.

Instead of Lush and Reverb filled Melodies and Guitarwork, Seven Mountains instead shows a more Lo-Fi and direct approach to her Acoustic style and expands not only the Instrumental but also the stylistic pallet from what was shown on LP1.

The experimental approaches of fusing Screamo, Acoustic Emo, Lo-Fi and Ambient music lead you through a story about isolation and learning to accept yourself.

Overall this record presents a new take on Bedroom/Acoustic Music with a multitude of influences that fluctuates between noise-walls, reflective acoustic tracks, calming ambience and emotional screams.
